Details for this year’s Corn Ui Dhúill Senior A Hurling Final have been confirmed.
St Kieran’s College overcame Offaly Schools in their Semi Final clash, to exact revenge for the Final last year. On a windy day in Rathdowney it was the Kilkenny side who made better use of the conditions. Seán Hunt, Ed McDermott and Rory Glynn proving accurate up front leaving them an unassailable lead at half time.
In the other Semi Final CBS Kilkenny had to survive a second half come back from Good Counsel College. The Kilkenny city side were sent on their way thanks in no small part to a rapid early goal from Brian Moore after just 90 seconds. They should great grit in keeping the New Ross side at bay, when momentum looked to be going away from them at the end.
